Chairman
(Founder)
J.D.
is the founder, Chairman and majority owner of RhumbLine
Advisers. He
is a former SeniorVice President and the first Director of
Public Funds Services at State Street Bank in Boston where
he spent 12 years providing financial services to the
institutional community.
Before joining State Street, J.D. was the
Administrator and Chief Budget Officer at the Democratic
National Committee in Washington, D.C.
While in Washington, he developed a keen interest
in the needs and frustrations of Public Pension Funds.
This served him well when he created State Street's
Public Funds Division, in the mid-eighties. J.D. strongly believes in using a team approach to create and deliver
successful investment strategies and steadfastly insists
on timely responsiveness to client needs.
As a result he has built a reputation in the
industry of focusing on client concerns and delivering
exceptional client service.
All of which has helped him assemble a team of
competent professionals with almost non-existent turnover
among employees. Until the demand of growth necessitated his undivided attention, J.D.
served in a Trustee or Advisory capacity to a number of
organizations including the Robert A. Toigo Foundation,
Oakland, CA (a Financial Services Fellowship Program) and
the Human Rights Project, Washington, D.C.
In addition his board experience includes
charitable organizations, public boards, bank boards and
the board of a successful socially responsible mutual
fund.

WAYNE T. OWEN
Chief Executive Officer
(Limited Partner)
Wayne is the firm's first
Limited Partner and one of the original staff who joined
RhumbLine when it set sail in October 1990.
He and J.D. became a team at State Street in late
1984 when he answered J.D.’s call to assist him in
creating the Public Fund Services Division.
Wayne’s position as the Chief Executive Officer gives
him the responsibility for the day-to-day operation of
RhumbLine and working as a team leader with J.D.’s other
direct reports. In J.D.'s absence he assumes full
Executive Authority for all aspects of the workflow and
obligations of RhumbLine Advisers, the Patnership.
Before moving to RhumbLine, Wayne spent 12 years at
State Street Bank. He
held several supervisory and management positions within
the Institutional Services Group, culminated with his
promotion to Vice President and Director of Client
Services for the Public Fund Division.
Wayne has a B.S. degree with a double major in
Accounting and Quantitative Methods from Babson College in
Wellesley, MA. He
serves as a Board member of the ARC of Greater Plymouth (a
non-profit organization which provides support and
services to kids and adults with special needs).

THOMAS J. CASSIDY
Director of Investment Operations
Tom joined the RhumbLine
team in July 2000 as Director of Investment Operations.
He is responsible for all investment operational
functions including trade communications, trade
processing, settlements, portfolio reconciliation and
corporate action management.
Tom maintains daily contact with brokers and
custodians insuring timely and accurate trade settlement.
Prior to joining RhumbLine, Tom spent 17 years at State
Street Bank where he began his financial career in 1983.
He held several supervisory positions within the
Institutional Services Group reporting to Wayne Owen.
Later, he held the position of Assistant Vice
President within the Global Cash Operations area.
He was instrumental in that area’s development
from its inception in 1994.
Tom received his B. S. degree Cum Laude in
Accounting from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell,
MA.

DENISE A. D'ENTREMONT
Marketing Director
(Limited Partner)
Denise joined the
RhumbLine team in May 1994 in the Client Service/Marketing
area. She subsequently spent 3 years as a Portfolio
Manager. In
2001 she answered the call of the Managing Partner and
became a Marketing Officer.
As a result of her outstanding client rapport and
dedication to the sales process she was promoted in 2002
to the position of Director of Marketing, which includes
the responsibility for Client Servicing.
Before joining RhumbLine, Denise spent three years
at Keystone Funds servicing broker relationships for the
mutual fund division.
She provided sales support for the Midwest and
Southeast regions as well as provided premier service to
Keystone's top selling brokers.
Denise is a graduate of the University of Rhode
Island and is currently pursuing her M.B.A. in Finance at
Bentley College in Waltham, MA.
She is also a member of the National Women in
Pensions organization.

BETH A. GREENSPAN
Executive Assistant
Beth joined the RhumbLine
team in February 2004 as Executive Assistant to J.D.
Nelson, the C.E.O. and Founder of RhumbLine Advisers.
Beth manages a variety of general office operations
as well as additional responsibilities in marketing and
client services. Beth’s career in the financial
services industry began at State Street Bank & Trust
Company in 1972. During
her 31-year tenure at the bank, Beth worked closely with
J. D. as an Executive and Marketing Assistant when he
created the Public Funds Division.
Subsequent positions at the bank included Portfolio
Accountant, Customer Service Representative, and her last
position, Supervisor and Telecommunications Analyst in the
Information Technology Division. Beth graduated from
The Berkeley School and attended Bentley College.
She is an active member in Rotary International (a
global network of community volunteers).

JEFF
D. KUSMIERZ
Assistant Portfolio Manager
Jeff
joined the RhumbLine in October 2005 in a part-time
capacity while earning his M.B.A. in Finance from Bentley
College. Jeff provided research for both the client
reviews and new product initiatives and also assisted the
Operations team in reconciling accounts and providing
client and consultant reports. After completing both
his B.S. and M.B.A. in May 2007, Jeff assumed a full-time
position as Assistant Portfolio Manager. Working
closely with both Norm and Julie, Jeff is instrumental in
assisting with both portfolio management and trading responsibilities.
In addition, Jeff continues to work on general
research-related projects.

JULIE C. LIND
Porfolio Manager
Julie joined the RhumbLine
team in July 2000. Initially
she was responsible for many operational functions
including trade processing, reconciliation and corporate
action management. In
July 2001 Julie was promoted from an account analyst to a
portfolio manager. She
works with Norman Meltz on managing and trading all our index
products. Julie
maintains daily contact with brokers and custodians
insuring timely trade settlement.
In addition, she works closely with Denise
D’Entremont in reporting to clients and consultants.
Prior to joining RhumbLine, Julie was a Senior
Account Administrator at Investors Bank & Trust, where
she worked in institutional custody, specializing in PERAC
and municipal retirement clients.
Julie received her B.S. in Accounting, Magma Cum
Laude from Newbury College, Brookline, MA, and is
currently a CFA candidate.

SARAH E. LYONS
Marketing Representative
Sarah recently joined the
RhumbLine team in December 2005. She is responsible
for the preparation of all client reports, consultant
questionnaires and coordination of all RFP's.
Working closely with Wayne and Denise, she communicates
with pension consultants on a regular basis.
Prior to joining RhumbLine, Sarah worked in the field of
Education. She holds a Bachelors of Science degree
from the University of Rhode Island.

CONNIE MICHAUD
Director of Information Technology
Connie
joined the RhumbLine team in April 2002.
She is responsible for the Network Operations at
RhumbLine.
Her duties also consist of daily network
performance and maintenance.
She works closely with J.D. analyzing and
implementing the new and merging technology of the
financial industry.
Prior to RhumbLine Connie was employed at Boston
Properties where she managed a wide area network with more
than 500 users.
Connie received her certification in Network
Administration from Boston University.
She is currently pursuing a Microsoft MCSE
certification

KIM ROGER McCANT
Chief Financial Officer/Director of Compliance
(Limited Partner)
Kim is a limited partner in
the firm and one of the original individuals who joined
RhumbLine at its inception in October, 1990. In
addition to addressing the financial, human resources and
benefit management functions of the firm, he is also
responsible for daily trade compliance issues, insuring
that governmental agency and industry forms and
documentation are updated on a timely basis, reviewing
preliminary performance of accounts, as well as various
other compliance issues.
Prior to RhumbLine, Kim worked as Comptroller,
Assistant Treasurer for the Public Funds Division at State
Street Bank and Trust Company.
He has also held supervisory positions in both the
Agency Financial Operations and Group Pension Accounting
areas while at New England Life in Boston.
He was actively involved in the development of
financial projections for their nationwide agency network,
participation in systems conversions and reconcilement of
projects, and implementation of accounting procedures for
new products. Kim
holds a B.S. degree, Cum Laude in Finance, and an M.B.A.
in Finance from Suffolk University, Boston.

NORMAN MELTZ
Director of Investments
Norm
comes to RhumbLine, in August 2005, with a wealth of
experience from a diverse background born of more than 20
years in quantitative investment management.
Previous job responsibilities included managing
computer systems, developing trading systems software and
creating and customizing both active and passive
quantitative investment products.
During his six years at State Street and State
Street Global Advisors (SSGA) he headed the group managing
structured domestic equity products, in the billions of
dollars, and played a key role in the creation of the
first international equity index fund.
Norm successfully developed a variety of valuation
models and the method for combining the models.
As Co-founder and Managing Director of Boston
International Advisors (which, 10 years later was sold to
an investment subsidiary of John Hancock Insurance) he
served as a Member of the Management and Investment
Committees.

Norm holds a B.A. in Mathematics, from Tufts
University and is a member of the CFA Institute and the
Boston Security Analysts Society.

JOHN PILGRIM
Portfolio Analyst
John
joined the RhumbLine team in July 2005.
He
is responsible for many investment operational functions
including trade communications, trade processing,
settlements, portfolio reconciliation and corporate action
management.
John
maintains daily contact with brokers and custodians
insuring timely and accurate trade settlement. Prior
to joining RhumbLine, John spent 7 years at State Street
Bank where he began his financial career in 1998.
He
held the position of Client Service Officer within the
Specialized Trust Services area, specializing in PERAC and
municipal retirement clients.

BRENDA H. SCHOFIELD
Administrator
(Limited Partner)
Brenda, one of the original
members of the firm, joined the RhumbLine Team in December
1990. She
serves as Administrator.
In that capacity she oversees many of the internal
needs acting in the role of Personnel Officer, Supply
Officer, Disbursement Officer, Vendor Contact, etc.
She also assists Kim McCant, the C.F.O.
preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports
and with various financial functions of the firm.
Brenda received
her B. S. degree in Public Policy and Administration from
Suffolk University, Boston.

JENNIFER
L. SMITH
Investment Accountant
Jennifer
started with RhumbLine in July, 2005 as an Intern
supporting the Investment Operation and Marketing
group. Jennifer has a strong educational background
in the areas of Finance and Accounting. Her
interest, attention to detail and responsiveness with the
organization made a natural fit - and a full-time employee
- as an Investment Accountant on the RhumbLine Team upon
her graduation from Bridgewater State College in May
2007. In addition to her operations responsibilities,
Jennifer continues to add support in the marketing and
client service area by assisting consultant requests and
client reports.
